Structure and Specifications
The DH-40 series is an industrial-grade vacuum ion coating system designed for decorative coatings on large metal sheets and complex structural components. It offers high-volume capacity, excellent efficiency, and outstanding coating uniformity—making it ideal for continuous, large-scale production. The system adopts a vertical top-opening structure, ensuring easy operation and convenient maintenance for high-throughput manufacturing environments.

Two structural configurations are available:

Type A
Features a central-hearth structure with a chamber size of Φ2000 × 1700 mm. The spacious design accommodates large flat panels and sheet components, optimized for decorative coatings on stainless-steel plates and planar workpieces.

Type B
Employs a top-suspended rotary frame supporting both revolution and rotation modes. With an enlarged chamber size, it accommodates workpieces of various shapes. The dual-rotation system allows multi-angle deposition, significantly improving coating uniformity—ideal for long panels, door and window profiles, and complex three-dimensional parts.

Cathodic Arc and Power System
The DH-40 series is equipped with forty high-performance cathodic arc sources (Φ100 × 40 mm), each powered by an independent DC arc power supply (max. 200 A). These arc sources are evenly distributed within the chamber, enabling simultaneous operation and stable plasma generation. The result is uniform brightness, excellent adhesion, and high coating density across all coated surfaces.

Bias and Vacuum System
The system includes a 60 kW single-pulse bias power supply that precisely controls ion energy, enhancing film-substrate bonding strength, density, and corrosion resistance.

  • Type A: Uses a diffusion pump system optimized for decorative coatings and high-speed vacuum pumping.

  • Type B: Features a high-performance composite vacuum pumping system offering superior stability and pumping speed, maintaining a clean and stable environment during long-duration coating cycles.

Loading Capacity

  • Type A: Accommodates up to four stainless-steel sheets per batch (≤2.5 mm thick, 1300 × 2500 mm).

  • Type B: Supports up to six sheets per batch (≤2.5 mm thick, 1300 × 4000 mm) and can also handle large, irregular, or three-dimensional decorative components.

Depositable Materials and Coating Performance
The DH-40 series can deposit a wide range of metallic and compound coatings, including titanium nitride (TiN), chromium nitride (CrN), zirconium nitride (ZrN), and titanium aluminum nitride (TiAlN). By precisely adjusting arc current, bias voltage, and gas flow ratios, the system achieves a variety of color tones and surface finishes. The coatings not only deliver premium decorative appearances but also exhibit high hardness, excellent wear resistance, corrosion protection, and oxidation stability.

Available Coating Colors:
Gold, rose gold, champagne, gunmetal, diamond black, copper, and antique bronze. Each coating exhibits rich color, high gloss, uniform tone, and strong adhesion with long-term color stability.

Application Fields
The DH-40 series is widely used in the stainless-steel and architectural decoration industries for surface treatment and color coating, including:

  • Elevator cabins and door panels

  • Stainless-steel revolving doors, glass door frames, and door casings

  • Home décor products such as cabinet panels, furniture fronts, and countertops

  • Interior and exterior architectural elements, columns, handrails, and artistic metalwork

With its large chamber volume, multi-arc high-efficiency deposition system, and flexible loading configurations, the DH-40 series combines industrial-scale productivity with superior decorative coating quality. The resulting metallic coatings are vivid, durable, and highly adherent—making the DH-40 an ideal solution for large-area stainless-steel color coating in elevators, buildings, furniture, and luxury interior applications.
